Back Bay West Boston, 395 Commonwealth Ave

  • Replaced historic windows in apartments 2 and 3 of this Commonwealth Ave apartment building
  • Replacement of 13 prefinished single hung multi-lite windows including a 12 lite configuration with a 10 foot height
  • Custom-made side-lites that open and shut

  • Replaced historic windows in this second floor condo while keeping the integrity of the historic architecture
  • Installation of two single hung replacements with a historically correct 2/2 vertical layout

  • Replaced historic windows in 4th floor apartment of this Beacon Hill building providing a more energy efficient solution
  • Multi-lite windows with black half screens ensure easy operation yet look just like the originals

  • Replaced historic windows throughout this first floor condo

  • Seven foot tall 2/2 layout single hung windows painted black on the exterior and polyurethane on the interior

  • Replaced all two-story double hung windows in this 1875 townhouse
  • Exterior and interior of each window was pre-finished to match the interior of this home

  • Replaced historic windows throughout this Boston Brownstone
  • Nine windows installed and include many that are almost four feet wide

Boston Red Sox's Fenway Park - Transoms above
Garage Doors at Gate A

  • Boston Historic Commission required the transom sash to be re-conditioned rather than replaced.
  • JB Sash removed existing sash and sent four to be re-conditioned.
  • Manufactured custom transom sash to match all existing transom sashes
  • JB Sash painted the sashes to match the current Fenway Green and then installed the new sash and four re-conditioned sashes

Bay Village Boston, NE School of Law, 
46 Church Street Boston

  • Replacement of 26 windows which had custom-sized mutin bars with single pane glass
  • All sashes were pre-painted at JB Sash prior to installation

Back Bay Boston, Newman Prep School, 
247 Marlborough St

  • Newman Prep School was looking to replace existing single glazed windows with insulated windows that met historical approval
  • JB Sash measured, manufactured and installed 99 windows while the students were on summer vacation
  • Windows included bowed units, transom units, single hung and stationary units
 


Winchester, Church Street Condos, 83 Church Street

  • The Condo Association wanted to provide the condo owners the option to upgrade the performance of windows without sacrificing the architectural detail
  • JB Sash measured, manufactured and installed over 75 windows across 10 different condo units
  • Windows included arched top units in common areas as well as conventional true-divided-lite single hung units
  • All windows were pre-painted prior to installation

  • JB Sash was contracted by Consiglie Construction to replace existing over sized single glazed double hung windows with more energy efficient solution
  • JB Sash measured and manufactured the windows with true-divided-lite and insulating glass to match existing windows

359 Newbury Street, Boston MA

  • JB Sash was contacted to replace all of the existing windows in the building above the Capital Grille Restaurant
  • JB Sash measured and manufactured the windows with true-divided lite and insulating glass to match existing windows
  • Replaced 60 windows consisting of single hung, stationary and multiple arched top units that matched existing size and layout all in accordance with Boston Historic Commission
  • JB Sash worked seamlessly with private contractor on this job to ensure that the replacement of the historic windows was successful
